► GENERAL INFORMATIONFULL NAME: edward b. sunday. what does the b stand for? who knows. now, because he's a simple cat, he has no real last name- but he knows his owner's last name is sunday, and he likes how eddie sunday rolls off of the tongue, so why not adopt it for superficial purposes?

GENDER: cis male.

SEXUALITY: eddies gay. he likes boys
► APPEARANCESPECIES: feline.
PELT: a very, very average calico pattern with no discernible markings. because he was born and bred to be a human companion, his fur has inherited some semblance of softness to it, because everyone loves a fluffy cat.
EYE COLOR: a dark, dull copper- there's nothing spectacular about his eyes. they don't really have any observable traits, like most eyes. if you squinted, maybe, you could gather that they're almond-shaped, an adequate distance apart, and they probably work alright.
BREED: questionable. he looks like an american shorthair but it's impossible to fully trace his heritage.
BUILD: eddie is a scrappy, lanky, scrawny little *er. he's long in every respect; long in the tail, long in the legs, etc. a literal stick. you could snap him like a toothpick.

CHARACTER PLAYLIST► PAST
previously a housepet belonging to a singular old man, eddie has always and only been introduced to elderly humans- being mainly an indoor cat, he has a fairly human-centric worldview and few survival skills. he has had very little interaction with other animals- perhaps he's run into a stray or two in the backyard, or the occasional raccoon, but edward is largely domesticated and soft in nature.
living a soft and comfortable life in a fairly quiet home, eddie was left to do as he pleased for most days, as his caretaker was far from energetic and quite obviously nearing the end of his days. he would occasionally be called over for scratch behind the ears, but for a majority of his existence, edward would sit on windowsills and stare into the garden, giving him plenty of time to daydream about his action plan after his owner's departure.
it was inevitable that at some point his aging owner would pass and, having anticipated this, edward split before being discovered by those who might investigate his owner's passing, dodging potential adoption and instead choosing to wander off into the wilderness, head full of fantastical ideas about living as a feral animal.► PERSONALITY
POSITIVE TRAITS:
polite and well-mannered, softspoken, has a firm and unwavering moral compass, warm and empathetic, intuitive and easily connects to others, gentle, devoted and protective of those he loves, generally friendly
NEUTRAL TRAITS:
a hopeless romantic, complacent, prone to second-guessing self, introverted, interested in fantasy and possibilities more than reality, respect for authority
NEGATIVE TRAITS:
overly-cautious and suspicious of others, prone to snapping and bouts of aggression when feeling anxious, easily startled or made uncomfortable, frequently worried, blunt, romanticizes unhealthy situations (sadness, heartbreak, Shakespearean *), strict with self, avoidant, prone to jealousy and feeling inadequate, prone to addiction► OTHER VITAL INFORMATION
closed for long-term romance, closed for litters, closed for long-term plots[/fancypost] -

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 320px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: ; color: ; margin-bottom: -5px][sup]His human was dead.
Was it wrong to say that he was grateful? It felt a little wrong. Enough to make him feel a bit uncomfortable, but not enough to dampen the exhilarating buzz that came with freedom.
Edward was a freshly feral cat- he still smelled of elderly people and Yankee candles, having fled his suburban home only hours before. Of course, he hadn't booked it immediately after his owner croaked- he'd payed his respects, of course, but the body was still warm as he slipped out of the barely-opened window. The first few hours of independence had been an emotional rollercoaster. First, there was unbridled joy as he scrambled over the white-picket fence, and then there was cautious, curious excitement as he rushed off into the unknown. Sparse outcroppings of trees soon became a forest- green grass became carpets of leaves, and as he poked around in a delicate but wondering manner, he found himself in a place he had never been before, surrounded by tall and imposing spires, trees that seemed to touch the sky, and a vague and unplaceable smell that he had never encountered before.
Excitement, wonder... and then, uncertainty. Once the initial thrill of a new and alien world died off, he was met with the creeping realization that he had no plan, nowhere to go, and no idea what lurked in the wilderness. That weird smell was what hammered the realization into him, the realization that there might be... things in these woods. Perhaps raccoons, but these didn't smell like any raccoons he'd ever seen. Yes, the smell was indubitably from another animal. Perhaps an animal that was bigger than him, and not as friendly. The rush soon gave way to an anxious tightening in his chest and the weight of worry settling into his stomach. Here, alone in the woods, stood a fragile and rather breakable calico cat with a pale blue collar still strapped snugly to his neck, newly independent and (very obviously) unacquainted with the world. Panic had not set in, not yet, but as he stood here, stock still and going over his actions, unknowingly toeing the border of a group that was unheard of to him... well, Edward was beginning to become a bit afraid.
Perhaps this was a mistake.[/fancypost] -
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 320px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: ; color: ; margin-bottom: -5px][sup]Animals were here. Big animals. How had he not seen them coming?
Eddie was not afraid, and this was for one reason and one reason only- he was, in the survival sense, quite dumb. Sure, just taking a glance at the group before him told him that these strangers were a threat- bigger claws, bigger teeth, bigger muscle- but what Eddie lacked here was common knowledge. He'd never seen anything- anyone- like this. To him, there were no wolves, no tigers, no cougars. There was a... big dog, and then a big cat, all of them looking quite like the few domesticated animals he'd run into over the course of his life.
Because they vaguely resembled domestic animals, it was only logical that they would behave like domestic animals. Right?
And so his own backward logic soon calmed him down- and now, he was afraid more of the elements than whomever stood before him. Though he was not completely at ease- the big, purple-eyed dog spoke with quite the vicious tone- and so the cautious smile on Eddie's maw dropped into a neutral frown.
His name? And what he wanted? Well, he didn't want anything, really. Before he could speak, or even process the situation, another feral animal spoke- this one, a vaguely feline fellow with quite the unique red gaze.
Join us? Now he was really confused. The calico's face twisted into a puzzled look, his collar jangling just a bit as he turned to look at the cub. "Join whom?", he questioned, before clearing his throat awkwardly. "Um. I'm Edward," he stated blankly, deciding it was better late than never to answer the first question. "Ed Sunday."

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 320px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: ; color: ; margin-bottom: -5px][sup]Ah. The cub's explanation was a welcome one- the prospect of war and violence didn't exactly thrill him (in fact, at the use of the word 'war', his dark eyes blinked open a little wider in surprise), but the use of the word 'group' intrigued him.
Group made this Bloodclan gang sound... at least somewhat organized. Which probably meant there was food, and home of some sort, and some semblance of protection. There were quite a few benefits- at least, Edward suspected there were going to be benefits. Bloodclan seemed to offer everything he currently lacked.
He narrowed his gaze contemplatively for just a moment- his gaze traveled between the empty forest behind him and the strangers before him, then back to the forest.
What was the worst that could happen?"Okay," he said curtly, accompanying the word with a shrug. He cast a wary gaze toward the rather tenacious wolf, his thin tail flicking idly. "I guess I'll be joining you," the fuzzy, collar-bearing calico remarked half-heartedly.[/fancypost]

yoooooooooo im borzoi B-) ive always had a lingering interest in bloodclan and im super psyched to finally start rping here!! hope to see yall around -
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 320px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: ; color: ; margin-bottom: -5px][sup]Ed had already been in Bloodclan for the span of like, a day, and here he was- already witnessing his first torture. Now, he had very little idea of Bloodclan's morals and such, but he did understand that war and terror was somewhat a big part of it- so this scenario, while repelling, was not unexpected.
But he expected a little more... blood? Because he had no powers whatsoever and no idea what emotional manipulation even was, this 'torture session' looked a lot like a staring contest to him. With varying facial expressions, of course.
Sitting on the throng of the crowd uncomfortably, the little calico just watched, an expression of confusion etched onto his face.[/fancypost] -
nahhh its cool!! characters are allowed to be grumpy n * it makes em interesting :3c

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 320px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: ; color: ; margin-bottom: -5px][sup]It was probably a good thing that Edward had yet to encounter alcohol- like an Amish kid on break, he was probably going to be vulnerable to the modern world's temptations for a while. Crack, murder, alcohol... well, probably not crack, but the other two seemed pretty prevalent in Bloodclan. Maybe some bad habits would rub off on him.
But for now he was just a pure little cinnamon roll, fresh out of the suburbs, unable to read the moods of others or sense the situation very well. Oblivious to both Kosher's inappropriate jokes and Kaiser's sour mood, the fragile calico found himself peering at the corpse of the bear from a distance, probably a little more interested than he should be.
"Good catch," the feline quipped, because he had nothing else to say. He'd never seen the corpse of anything bigger than a mouse. He found that he was less awestruck than he thought he would be.[/fancypost] -
i think those are a thing right
